When Can You Apply?
The CDCP is rolling out in phases:
- Seniors 87+ years – December 2023
- Seniors 77-86 years – January 2024
- Seniors 72-76 years – February 2024
- Seniors 70-71 years – March 2024
- Children under 18 – June 2024
- All remaining eligible Canadians – 2025

The government is reaching out to eligible individuals with application details. Initially, applications are being accepted by phone, with an online system launching in May 2024.
